After a successful six-year marketing management run working for an Inc. 500 company, Jenny started her Internet Marketing agency before the age of thirty. She and her husband decided to cement their commitment to making rural Kansas even more competitive by building a home and a business near his family farm in north central Kansas.

Now approaching twenty years in business as the owner of JenRus Freelance, Russell is proud to have a team of eight staff, be the founder of five companies, and be integral in the growth of small communities through fifteen years of work in Economic Development and Community Foundations. Highlights so far in her marketing career include developing campaigns for National/International Caterpillar Dealerships and national print ads for an Irrigation manufacturer. But, some of her favorite work is the work done in Republic County Kansas, and for Northwest Kansas Economic Innovation Center, showing the world what rural can do.

Jenny Russell grew up in Glen Elder, Ks and graduated with a degree in Business-Communications and Marketing from Bethany College. Russell has now worked in Economic Development, marketing, advertising, and websites for over fifteen years.  To see our marketing, graphic design, and website services to our 314 Graphic Design division.   This time included five years with Brush Art Corporation, a marketing and advertising agency out of Downs Kansas and now fifteen years in Economic Development. An emphasis in working with and structuring websites led Russell to Internet Marketing and the establishment of JenRus Freelance Marketing in 2008.
