Steve Benne — Creative Director

Steve Benne joined the JenRus Freelance and A Little Hometown Shirt team in January of 2023 as the Creative Director.  Steve manages the bulk of the screen-printing duties, assists with digital marketing and t-shirt design and is eager to assist with any tasks within the office.

Steve has worked for The Courtland Journal for over 10 years, keeping the small-town paper and businesses alive is part of Steve’s passion. Steve also fills his time coaching junior high

football for Pike Valley Schools and filling the pulpit at the Courtland Covenant Church every other Sunday. Steve graduated from Pike Valley High School in 1995 and went on to attend McPherson College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Philosophy/Religion and Speech/Theatre.
